DESCRIPTION:The Civil Rights Movement:\nLessons Learned -Reflections for the Future\nThursday\, February 25 | 4pm – 5:30pm  PST\nThe NDCA is fortunate to have three jurists who were instrumental in the Civil Rights Movement.\nCome learn about their experiences and insights for the future. \n\nHon. Thelton Henderson\, was one of two Black students to graduate from Berkeley Law in 1962\, was the first African American lawyer in the U.S. Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division in the early 1960s.\nHon. William H. Alsup\, author of Won Over: Reflections of a Federal Judge on His Journey from Jim Crow Mississippi.\nHon. William H. Orrick‘s background includes service as Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Division of the US Dept of Justice and Office of Immigration Litigation.\n\n\nRegistration\nTo register\,  please RSVP your name\, firm/organization\, and email address to ndca.fba@gmail.com by February 22\, 2021.
