DESCRIPTION:The Oklahoma City Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is pleased to offer a virtual CLE addressing the doctrine of qualified immunity from civil rights claims brought under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 (part of the Civil Rights Act of 1871). \nAlthough the doctrine is widely applied\, scholars\, judges and even some Supreme Court justices have suggested that the doctrine is not grounded in the statute and is subject to question.
