A Message from the Chapter President
The Richmond County Chapter of the Federal Bar Association covers the Richmond Division of the Eastern District of Virginia. It includes the following counties: Amelia, Caroline, Charles City, Chesterfield, Colonial Heights, Cumberland, Dinwiddie, Essex, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, Hopewell, King and Queen, King George, King William, Lancaster, Louisa, Middlesex, New Kent, Northumberland, Nottoway, Petersburg, Powhatan, Prince George, Richmond, Spotsylvania, Sussex, and Westmoreland. The chapter was originally formed in 1959. The Richmond Chapter has more than 50 members from private practice, government agencies, military branches, local law schools and local courts. The chapter is committed to serving the needs of the federal practitioner in Richmond.
