A Message from the Chapter President

I am pleased to announce that the Board of the Federal Bar Association, Puerto Rico Chapter, has unanimously approved a Resolution changing the name of our Chapter to honor Raymond L. Acosta, Senior U.S. District Judge, who was the founder of our Chapter and has been steadfast in his support of the interests of our Chapter for many years. In doing so, we have followed the lead of FBA chapters in the United Sates that have bestowed such a recognition to federal judges in their respective jurisdictions.

Senior Judge Acosta has graciously accepted our decision to name our Chapter in his honor. Accordingly, our Chapter is hereby named the Hon. Raymond L. Acosta Puerto Rico Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
