Summer Federal Trial Advocacy
Series
This year the Memphis/Mid-South Chapter is introducing a dynamic, six-part
summer series of CLE opportunities, targeted at the federal practitioner.
The series will cover the life of a jury trial focusing on key phases
from pre-trial motions to appeals. Most of the programs will take place
inside a federal courtroom and will be moderated by prominent attorneys
and local judges. Incorporated into the lectures will be demonstrations
of the techniques and principles of effective trial advocacy. Parts II,
III, IV and V will take place in Memphis, Tenn., but will be made available
to practitioners in Jackson, Tenn. via videoconferencing at the federal
courthouse in Jackson. The fees for each session are: $20 for law clerks,
$30 for FBA members and $40 for nonmembers. We look forward to seeing
