Chair's Message

Welcome to the Judiciary Division Web page. I plan on using this page, as well as our publication, The Federal Jurist, to keep members and potential members informed about the division’s activities. We are working hand-in-hand with the Government Relations Committee on those issues of concern to the federal constitutional and administrative judiciary that arises in Congress and with the administration. Our Legislative Committee chair, Judge Ed Silverstein, actively monitors draft legislation, proposed rules, and other initiatives for us. If you have any ideas, comments or suggestions, please feel free to email them to me at Arthur_A._Liberty@HUD.gov.

I encourage not only all members of the federal constitutional and administrative judiciary to become active members of the division, but also those non-judges with an interest in the issues involving the judges who sit on the federal bench. I also hope that any member with an interest in division leadership through serving as an officer, participating on a division committee, or by helping with division activities, will contact one of the division officers listed to the left. Together, we will continue to diligently work to improve the division and its services to the federal judiciary. I welcome your suggestions and comments, and look forward to your active support.
