Message from the President
Hello from the Great Land! I am a life-long Alaskan, born and raised in Anchorage. I obtained my J.D. from Hastings College of the Law in 1983, and promptly returned home. I started my career in private practice at a local Anchorage civil firm. I practiced civil law until the early 1990s, when I joined the public criminal defense section of the Alaska Office of Public Advocacy.

With the addition of eight new members since the end of 2012, the Alaska Chapter of the Federal Bar Association (FBA) has grown substantially. Five of the new members are also newly admitted attorneys to the Alaska Bar.
