Business Meeting and CLE Presentation
Time: Noon-1:00 p.m.
The meeting will include a business portion to elect officers for next
year. The main presentation will be a CLE on developments in CM/ECF practice
for the District of Alaska. This program is ideal for practitioners and
staff members who interact with the ECF system. It will cover problems
and issues since implementation at the beginning of 2006. There are also
new developments to our system so the CLE will cover new information based
on updates to the system.
The presenter is Natalie Day of the Clerk's office, who is the Data
Quality Analyst/Trainer for CM/ECF for the District of Alaska. You know
her also as one of your contact persons at the Help Desk. She has over
15 years of experience working in the Court. Her past positions have included:
In-Court Deputy, Case Manager and ECF Trainer. Natalie is also responsible
for maintaining the functionality of ECF. The program will occur in Courtroom
# 3. Food is not allowed in the courtroom.
This program is intensely visual because of the nature of the court's
training program. For security reasons, it cannot be webcast. For those
interested in audio participation, however, you must indicate your interest
as soon as possible. Prompt notice will enable us to make telephone arrangements
for those not present.
