TFL International Law Section Issue

Calling All FBA ILS Writers!

The FBA ILS is interested in engaging our members in an exciting publication opportunity.  Our Section has been invited to edit the May 2018 The Federal Lawyer (TFL) theme issue on international law.  TFL typically requires four - five articles of 4,000 words or more and two - three articles of 2,000-4,000 words.  TFL also accepts judicial profiles as part of our theme issues if there is a judge who does a great deal of work within the featured practice area.  Thus far, we have two proposed articles.  Board Officer Roger Kobert suggested that we encourage writers to work in teams of two or three, selected by the respective committees, to provide more authorship opportunities and ensure that the articles get done, and on time.  For planning purposes, please be aware of the following deadlines:

August 30, 2017 - Statement of Interest expressed to Mimi Tsankov - mimi.tsankov@gmail.com
September 30, 2017 - 1st Draft status update
October 30, 2017 - 2nd Draft status update
November 30, 2017 - 3rd Draft status update
December 31, 2017  -  Final Draft
