Spotlight on Ivaylo Dimitrov

SPOTLIGHT ON


The International Law Section warmly welcomes Ivaylo Dimitrov, Esquire, from Bulgaria, as law school liaison to the Section. Ivaylo Dimitrov is a LL.M. student from Bulgaria studying international and comparative law at George Washington University Law School. He is a Fulbright Foreign Student Program grantee and Thomas Buergenthal scholar at GW Law where his course activities are concentrated mainly in international commercial and investment arbitration, business transactions and trade law. He has obtained his first law degree from the Economic University in Sofia, Bulgaria with Dean's Honorary Diploma for outstanding extracurricular achievements throughout his studies, such as best written memorial in the world in the Philip C. Jessup Competition and numerous academic publications in renowned law journals. Ivaylo is also currently a PhD candidate in private and comparative law and an attorney-at-law in a boutique Bulgarian law firm.
