The Antitrust Lawyer Second Edition Introduction

The Antitrust Lawyer Second Edition Introduction

Welcome to the second edition of The Antitrust Lawyer. I hope you all had wonderful holidays and will have a happy new year!

For this edition, we have been lucky enough to receive four educational articles covering topical areas of antitrust law. Cody Rockey of Dykema Gossett PLLC provides a forward-looking analysis of the implications of Tyson Foods v. Bouaphakeo. John Atkins and Chris Dachniwsky of Thompson Knight, LLP examine the rejected settlement in the In re American Express Anti-Steering Rules Litigation. Frank Caroll of Dykema Gossett PLLC, the chair of the section, offers a detailed overview of the DOJ leniency program. Mr. Roni Elias offers a broader guide on the importance of corporate antitrust compliance programs.

I sincerely hope you will consider being a part of the next Antitrust Lawyer publication. With hundreds of members in the section, publishing in the newsletter is a great way to get your name and ideas to antitrust and trade regulation practitioners across the country. Our section is scheduled to publish two to three times a year. Please contact me at jrissman@gustafsongluek.com if you are interested or have questions.

Best Regards and Happy New Year,

Josh Rissman, Newsletter Coordinator
Associate, Gustafson Gluek PLLC
