The CNN segment by reporter Joe Johns focuses on the impact of the pending across-the-board budget cuts on the operations of the federal justice system. CNN attributed to the Federal Bar Association the forecast of two court-related developments that could be triggered by the cuts: the layoff of as many as one-quarter of all federal court personnel, as well as the cessation of civil jury trials, due to insufficient jury funds.
