The Federal Bar Association is organized into chapters, sections, and divisions. Each level of organization requires talented volunteers from within its membership.

FBA Chapters
As a national member of the Federal Bar Association, you can also enjoy membership in one of the local FBA chapters. With more than 95 chapters in 43 states plus Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, you will be able to focus your interests more narrowly and 

  • advance yourself professionally with local networking and educational opportunities;
  • build relationships and contacts with fellow attorneys and judges;

FBA Sections and Divisions
Sections and divisions are specialized interest groups that focus on different practice areas and career demographics. Enhance your membership experience and your career trajectory by joining a section or division. Benefits include:

The FBA has 22 substantive law sections that you may join. In addition to networking opportunities, many sections distribute quarterly newsletters providing current information on their particular area of the law. Sections include:
