Judge Karl Forester, 73, died Saturday, March 29, 2014 in Lexington, Kentucky. A federal judge since 1988, Judge Forester was appointed to the federal bench by President Ronald Reagan on July 27, 1988. Judge Forester served as the Chief Judge of the Eastern District of Kentucky from 2001 until 2005, after which he took senior status.
