Joseph S. Leventhal

Joe Leventhal is a litigator with extensive experience representing clients of all sizes, from Fortune 250 companies to individuals at the highest levels of corporate America and the U.S. government. In 2012, Leventhal built upon that experience to establish Leventhal Law. The business-focused firm is designed to serve clients with one ultimate goal in mind: successful results consistent with their business goals.

Joe is active in the Federal Bar Association at both the national and chapter level. At the chapter level, Joe currently serves as vice president of the San Diego Chapter. At the national level, Leventhal currently serves as a member of the Government Relations Committee and as a member of the Board of the Younger Lawyers Division. Notably, Joe served as chair of the National Convention Planning Committee for the FBA’s 2012 Convention in San Diego. Finally, Joe served on the FBA’s Sarah T. Hughes Civil Rights Award Committee for the last two years, most recently serving as chair of the committee.

Leventhal received his JD, cum laude, from the Georgetown University Law Center, where he was an editor of the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal. He remains active with Georgetown as an advisor to the Immigration Law Journal. He graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a degree in political science.
