
Devinti M. Williams has been a member in good standing of the North Alabama Chapter of the Federal Bar Association since 2003. In that time, Devinti has served as Chair of the Chapter Membership Committee (03-04), Chapter Parliamentarian (04-05), Chapter Secretary/Treasurer (05-06), Chapter National Delegate (06-07), Chapter Vice-President (07-08) (and a return to simultaneously serve again as chapter secretary/treasurer to fill in for a military activated chapter officer who was serving as secretary/treasurer at the time of her activation), and as the Chapter President (08-09).
Additionally, at the national level, Devinti’s FBA related experience includes having served as a council member on the FBA National Council, as a committee member for the 2006 Sarah T. Hughes Civil Rights National FBA Award, as a committee member on the FBA Government Relations Committee, as the National CLE Chair for the Government Acquisitions Symposium during the 2008 Annual FBA Meeting & Convention, as a member of the Task Force on Diversity, as a member of the FBA National Convention Committee, and at the New Orleans FBA meeting & convention, being inducted as a Fellow to the Foundation of the Federal Bar Association.
