Matthew Acock has been a member of the Federal Bar Association since 2004. He is President of Acock Consulting, L.L.C. and Vice President of Acock Engineering & Associates, L.P. He previously served as the Chief Counsel and Legislative Director for U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-Texas) in Washington, D.C. from 2005 to 2010. Matthew was elected to the FBA Board of Directors in 2010, having served as an ex officio member of the Board of Directors from 2009–2010. Matthew has been a member of the Younger Lawyers Division since 2004, and served as its Chair from 2009 to 2010. He has served as a Board Member of the Capitol Hill Chapter, as well as the San Antonio Chapter, where he currently serves as the Chair of the Young Lawyer/Law Student Committee.
