Welcome to the Foundation of the Federal Bar Association’s
Fellows Silent Auction!

A number of exciting items have been donated to this year’s Fellows Silent Auction! Participating in this auction is an excellent way for you to support the Foundation’s mission to:

Promote and support legal research and education;
Advance the science of jurisprudence;
Facilitate the administration of justice; and
Foster improvements in the practice of Federal law.

Please note that you must be a member of the Federal Bar Association to be eligible to participate in the auction ( click here to join the FBA if you are not already a member ).

The Fellows are also still accepting donations for the auction. If you are interested in donating to the auction, please read the Silent Auction Donation Information and fill out the donation form , returning it to the Foundation as soon as possible. Both individuals and chapters are encouraged to donate. Items that have been particularly popular in the past include vacations, wine, artwork, and sports tickets or memorabilia. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization, so prize contributions are tax deductible.

Online bidding for the Silent Auction is now closed. Bidding will continue onsite at the 2008 FBA Annual Meeting and Convention in Huntsville, Alabama. See you there!

Justice Louis D. Brandeis Green Bag Bobblehead

They are only available to selected subscribers of the Green Bag, an Entertaining Journal of Law, and on the secondary or auction market. The bobblehead shows Justice Brandeis riding an exact replica of the Erie Railroad engine which struck poor Mr. Thompkins, immortalized in Erie v. Thompkins, 304 U.S. 64 (1938) (overruling Swift v. Tyson).

Stan Musial Autographed Cardinals Baseball in Protective Case

Stan “The Man” Musial starred for the St. Louis Cardinals for 22 seasons and was the first National League player to win three Most Valuable Player Awards. Musial was voted the Player of the Decade in 1956 for the period from 1946 to 1955. Stan the Man was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1969.
