Interested in applying for a grant?
To be eligible for a grant, a project must address the need for legal services in the community or must fall under any component of the Foundation’s mission, which is to:
- Promote and support legal research and education;
- Advance the science of jurisprudence;
- Facilitate the administration of justice; and
- Foster improvements in the practice of Federal law.
Grants applications are accepted twice during the Foundation’s fiscal year and processed according to the following schedule:

A chapter may only receive funds from the Foundation once a year. Grant recipients will be required to file a Foundation Grant Program Follow-Up Report at the conclusion of the program or not later than six months after the grant is awarded.
