*Updated materials will be accepted up through the conference date, however, initial materials must be emailed to Ariel White, Conference Coordinator, by the date above for your presentation to be approved for CLE credit.


REGISTRATION

  • You receive complimentary registration access to the conference processed on your behalf by an FBA staff member. Please provide your contact information via the online speaker form below for registration processing.

CLE MATERIALS

  • All speakers are expected to submit materials so that their panel can be approved for CLE credit.
  • Materials are due Monday, January 27. Ethics panel materials are due Friday, January 17.
  • Submitted materials should prove to state boards that you are improving the attendee’s legal understanding of the topic, and have content that they can reference after the event. A helpful CLE Material Guidelines document is located under resources.
  • Your actual presentation slides can be updated/submitted until the week of the conference.

SOCIAL MEDIA TOOLKIT

  • A social media toolkit is located under resources.
  • Don’t forget to share conference content from the Federal Bar Associations social media platforms!
  • Toolkit also includes suggested verbiage for your own social media channels and opportunity to create a customized graphic with your head shot promoting speaking role.
    • Head shots should be sent to Ariel White, Conference Coordinator. 

CONFERENCE VENUE

  • The FHI360 Conference Center is 1825 Connecticut Ave NW 8th Floor, Washington, DC 20009.
  • Limited garage parking (PMI) is available underneath the building off of Florida Avenue for $21/day. Do not park in the reserved spaces or you will be towed. The Dupont Circle Metro Station (Red) is less than a 10 minute walk from the venue. Make sure to use the “Q St NW” exit when you leave the station.
  • All CLE panels will be located in the Academy Ballroom.

ROOM SET & AUDIO VISUAL LOGISTICS

  • Panelists will sit at a head table on a riser during their presentation. The head table will be equipped with table top microphones and a clicker to advance PPT slides. You do not need to bring your own laptop for presentation purposes. The FBA will provide a presentation laptop for the entire conference.
  • We are capable of playing videos/sound for your presentations, but please let me know when you send your final slides that you will be using sound or playing videos so I can prepare the audio visual technician onsite.

  • You are responsible for booking your own travel and hotel accommodations for this event.
