Rising Professionals Symposium – Call For Presentations


A first of its kind FBA conference that focuses on the rising professional, this symposium will provide an informational experience to elevate your career.  Take the initiative to build your national network by interacting with peers, FBA leaders, and in-house counsel during the program discussion and then engage and connect during the evening and after-hours receptions.  You won't want to have what happens in Vegas stay in Vegas...you'll want to showcase this experience throughout your entire career.

Call For Presentations:

To make this program a success, we need bright and talented attorneys like you to provide fundamental insight to building prowess in the courtroom as well as key elements for skills and client development.

This year's program will be a collection of short, 18-minute presentations similar to the TED/TEDx format. If you are interested in being a presenter, submit the following information through the online submission portal on or before November 30, 2017:

i. Presentation Topic [NOTE: All subject matters are welcome!]
ii. Title of Presentation (MAKE IT CATCHY!)
iii. Synopsis of Presentation (100 words or less)
iv. Experience Level with Chosen Subject Matter (100 words or less)
v. Subject Importance - Why is this valuable to the practice of law and emerging professionals? (100 words or less)
vi. Copy of your Resume

Please note that available speaker opportunities are limited. Accordingly, please review your online proposals carefully and be prepared for follow-up inquiries from our selection committee.
If selected, we will notify you on or before December 8, 2017 for speaker orientation and the rehearsal schedule to make sure our February program goes smoothly. Confirmed panelists will receive a full complimentary registration to the symposium.

A discounted block of rooms has been reserved for attendees at The Four Seasons Hotel (3960 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119) at $219/night (plus state and local taxes). Guests will also be charged a reduced daily resort fee of $35. Check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out time is 12:00pm.

Reservations must be made online by Monday, January 8, 2018. Any reservations received after the above date or until the block is full, whichever is sooner, will be accepted based on a room-type and rate-available basis.
