Message From the Chair
The purpose of the Federal Career Service Division (FCSD) of the Federal Bar Association (FBA) is to support and educate our members, who are or have been officers or employees of the United States or the District of Columbia (and are members in good standing of the FBA). In this regard, the FCSD reflects the roots of the FBA itself, which was founded in 1920 by federal government career attorneys. Honoring that tradition, the FCSD charges no additional membership dues (i.e., eligible FBA members may join the FCSD at no additional cost).
It is a privilege to serve as Chair, and I am grateful for the contributions of Frances Sclafani as Chair-Elect and Steve Miller as Immediate Past Chair. All three of us have served as federal government attorneys (past or present) and are dedicated to promoting the welfare, interests, and professional development of FCSD members.
Please consider becoming involved in the FCSD. Whether your experience is measured in days or decades, we want to hear from you! Please contact me at sections@fedbar.org if you are interested in taking on a leadership role in the FCSD or simply learning more about the division.
Andrew Doyle
Federal Career Service Division Chair
