Membership in the Tidewater Chapter is comprised of any active member of the Federal Bar Association who resides or has his or her employment or office in the following counties and independent cities* which make up the Newport News and Norfolk Divisions of the Eastern District of Virginia:
Newport News Division: Gloucester, Hampton*, James City, Mathews, Poquoson*, Newport News*, Williamsburg*, York
Norfolk Division: Accomack, Chesapeake*, Franklin*, Isle of Wight, Norfolk*, Portsmouth*, Southampton, Suffolk*, Virginia Beach*
