CLE Program and Happy Hour with Simmons Hanly Conroy and the Stobbs Law Offices

On June 9, 2017, the Federal Bar Association of Southern Illinois partnered with Simmons Hanly Conroy and the Stobbs Law Offices to host an ethics CLE program, a happy hour, and a night at Busch Stadium. The event kicked off at 3:00 pm with Social Media and the Ethical Lawyer — a panel presentation that examined how the Rules of Professional Conduct impact a lawyer’s use of Facebook, Twitter, and the like. Panelists were Chief U.S. District Judge Michael J. Reagan, U.S. Magistrate Judge Reona Daly, and Assistant U.S. Attorney Nathan D. Stump. The program was approved for one hour of Ethics CLE credit. After the presentation, attendees were invited to stick around for a FREE rooftop happy hour. Then, to cap the evening, chapter members headed to downtown St. Louis to catch a Cardinals game with discounted, all-inclusive tickets in the AT&T Rooftop section of Ballpark Village. A good time was had by all!
