Welcome to the Federal Bar Association Pentagon Chapter! We are the premiere chapter for military officers and lawyers in the association!
Our primary event is our annual all-day program known as Jobs for JAGS. Through this event we provide our Pentagon Chapter members and prospective members an opportunity to see and hear former JAGs now serving as recruiting officers and attorneys from federal and state government legal offices as well as private practitioners from firms large and small. Our panelists also include former judge advocates serving in academia, non-profits, and in-house counsel offices.
Whether you are senior officer nearing military retirement or a junior officer weighing your options, this program is a must-attend event.
Highlights of previous programs include:
• Lunch keynote: MG William K. Suter, USA (Ret.), currently serving as the 19th Clerk of the Supreme Court of the United States
• Representatives from the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA)
• Advice on resumes, cover letters, and interviewing tips and techniques for making that military-civilian transition
• Partners at large and medium-size law firms
