The Mississippi Chapter of the Federal Bar Association covers the entire state of Mississippi, both the Northern and Southern Districts. The chapter was originally formed in 1964. Today, the Mississippi Chapter has more than 175 members from private practice, government agencies, military branches, local law schools and local courts. The chapter is committed to serving the needs of the federal practitioner in Mississippi and to be in support of the Federal judiciary in Mississippi.

Our chapter holds lunch meetings in the months of January, March, May, July, September, and November, rotating between Jackson, the Gulf Coast, and Oxford. Our bi-monthly programs offer a great lineup of speakers and an opportunity to interact with the Federal bench and bar. Our Federal judges are active in our chapter and contribute to the opportunity to discuss Federal practice.

To the left you will find a listing of the chapter officers and chapter news. If you have not already done so, I invite you to join the Federal Bar Association and the Mississippi Chapter. I look forward to seeing you at our events.
