Seventh Annual Judge John Shaw "Country Gentleman" Civility and Ethics Seminar
On Thursday December 1, 2010, the Seventh Annual Judge John Shaw "Country Gentleman" Civility and Ethics Seminar was held at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. The symposium is a living memorial to Judge Shaw's contribution to the federal jurisprudence and legal scholarship and concentrates on civility in the courtroom trials as well as ethical and professionalism concerns. This year’s featured topics covered ethics, mediation and the new changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and suggestions as to handling the Medicare Set-Aside problem with Federal Court settlements.
