Galvanizing Gideon CJA Mentorship Luncheon

The El Paso Chapter hosted a luncheon on June 8, 2015 to honor mentors and mentees who participated in the Galvanizing Gideon CJA Mentorship Program. The luncheon also celebrated the recent 50 year anniversary of the Criminal Justice Act, with a brief presentation by Cait Clarke, Chief of the Defender Services Office.

May 2013 Civil Trial CLE

Attendees heard civil trial tips from U.S. District Judge David Briones and prominent local attorneys Enrique Moreno and Leon Schydlower at a CLE on Thursday, May 16, 2013.


 

 

Music Under the Stars

Employment Law Update – May 2012

Delegation of Columbian Judges Visit

On September 16, 2010 the visiting delegation of Colombian judges and prosecutors discussed the transition from an inquisitorial system to adversarial system for the FBA’s monthly brown bag.

Albert Armendariz U.S. Courthouse Dedication

The dedication ceremony for the Albert Armendariz, Sr. United States Courthouse occurred on September 8, 2010.

First Annual Introduction to Federal Practice

On June 24, 2010, over forty law students and new associates participated in the first annual Introduction to Federal Practice. They court-watched, heard from judges and practitioners, and mingled at a reception.
