Message from the President
The Del Rio Chapter of the Federal Bar Association was initiated in July 2003. An association with a national affiliation was desperately needed in the Del Rio Division of the Western District of Texas. Our division has lawyers that practice from Del Rio, San Antonio, Eagle Pass, Uvalde, Crystal City, Carrizo Springs and other surrounding cities in the western portion of Texas. The caseload in federal court has exploded over the last few years, necessitating ten assistant U.S. attorneys in our division as well as over 25 probation officers.
