Welcome to the Chattanooga Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. With just over 100 members, we are an active Chapter offering regular CLE opportunities, lunches with federal judges, socials to network and learn more about federal practice, mentoring opportunities, nationwide federal practice resources, and opportunities to help serve the judiciary and the public. The Chapter also focuses on civic outreach in the community, holding events for the public to learn more about the federal judiciary. For most of us, our work centers around federal court practice in Chattanooga or the surrounding community and membership is an invaluable asset.
I am honored to be the Chapter President for 2023. I have been a Federal Bar Association member for many years and have been actively involved in our Chapter throughout that time. If you practice in Chattanooga or North Georgia and are active in federal court, we welcome your membership. Being a member will allow you to develop relationships with not only other practitioners active in our local federal courts but also the federal judges in our region. If you have an interest in community service and outreach, our Chapter has a place for you. Our Chapter and its members facilitate opportunities for schools and other members of the public to visit the federal courthouse, helping to educate hundreds of citizens about the judiciary.
