What is the Chapter Activity Fund?
The Chapter Activity Fund (“CAF”) was established to assist FBA
chapters through their lean years to promote FBA membership and awareness of
the bar association, to serve the federal bar and bench and to create and sustain
legally-related educational and other pro-bono projects and activities. The
CAF Committee has been given the authority to evaluate grant applications and
determine how best to allocate the resources available in the fund.
The CAF Committee has been evaluating and granting requests from a number of
chapters this year, but the committee welcomes more extensive participation
throughout the chapter base. To assist you in your planning and filling out
the grant application, the CAF Committee has revised
its guidelines for the granting of requests.
Be creative. The Chapter Activity Fund is a wonderful resource. USE IT.
